Ready Mix Plaster Testing
(Factory-Made Plaster — BS EN 998-1)
Complete mechanical testing of factory-made ready mix plaster — verifying compressive strength, adhesion bond strength, water vapour permeability, thermal conductivity and crack resistance per BS EN 998-1.
What is the Ready Mix Plaster Testing?
Ready Mix Plaster is a factory-produced dry mortar mix combining cement, fine aggregate, additives and sometimes lime — requiring only water addition on site. Factory production ensures consistent properties — unlike site-mixed plasters where aggregate grading, cement content and water-cement ratio vary batch to batch.
At Global Lab, ready mix plaster testing is conducted as per BS EN 998-1 covering compressive strength (CS category), water absorption (W category), adhesion bond strength, fresh mortar consistency, water retention, fire reaction and crack pattern — providing complete product characterisation for CE marking and ETICS system certification.
