Cement Base Wall Putty Testing
(IS 6278 — Cement Wall Putty)
Complete physical and mechanical testing of cement-based wall putty — verifying fineness, consistency, setting time, water demand, adhesion bond strength and whiteness for interior and exterior applications.
What is the Cement Base Wall Putty Testing?
Cement Base Wall Putty is a white cement-based powder applied to walls and ceilings to provide a smooth, uniform base coat for final paint. Quality testing verifies that the putty has adequate bond strength to the concrete or plaster substrate, achieves specified whiteness, and does not crack, peel or delaminate after curing.
At Global Lab, cement wall putty testing is conducted as per IS 6278 covering consistency, water demand, initial and final setting time, fineness, compressive strength at 7 and 28 days, adhesion bond strength (pull-off test) and whiteness (reflectance). Results confirm suitability for interior and exterior wall finishing applications.
