What is Sieve Shaker Calibration?
Gradation is the most-run test in any materials lab, and shaker condition quietly shapes it: a slow timer under-sieves, worn cams change tapping energy, and both shift material between adjacent sieves — enough to flip borderline envelope verdicts. The sieves themselves are governed by IS 460; the shaker must deliver consistent, sufficient sieving motion for the standard durations.
