What is Muffle Furnace Calibration?
Ash contents, loss-on-ignition and ignition-method binder contents all hinge on the muffle furnace truly reaching and holding its prescribed temperature. At 600–1000°C, controller thermocouples age fast — drifting tens of degrees while the display stays confident, altering combustion completeness and reported results.
